Langenfels and Davil in your head

Last weekend we were at one of the famous Elsas spots - Langenfels.

This is not a big spot, just about 100 routes which are spreed on few walls/sectors of sandstone rock.

My friend Annkathrin has a 7a+ project at Langenfels and she pushed us to go there. Weather was kind of cold but possible for climbing. Only on first go my fingers were completely frozen but then it was more or less ok.

I did two 6a/6a+ for warm then we switched to Annkathrin's project Devil in your head(7a+). It is an inspiring route, it has an insane dyno which is its crux and two bouldery sections next to the crux.

Actually I have not so much stamina but when I managed the dyno I was able to take a rest with a good jag. Nevertheless at some point I finished to talk shit and rest and managed next two cruxes.

So, I guess Devil is worth to try it for everybody who wants to climb something inspiring and powerful. Next time we will go there to continue Annkathrin's work on this route but I am psyched to try 8a Delirius Nokturnus!

And some photos out of this day
